It is an old trick, but still useful. This is a simple Registry edit, which hardly takes you two minutes to configure. Follow these simple steps.
- Go to Start > Run.
- Type regedit and hit Enter.
- Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Internet Settings
- Increase the values (DECIMAL) from default to a higher value e.g. 10
That’s it. Simple.

I tend to use FireFox, Net Scape as well as Internet Explorer. In my line of work, I use 3 different ones to check out how well they work in each browser. I do find
Firefox to be faster. However lately I find myself using NetScape. Anyone have any views on NetScape?

This is a great advice for speeding up internet explorer. I also know a tip that will load IE faster. You simply rename the IEXPLORE.EXE file from program files into iexplore-nohome.exe.

FireFox and Opera are no more secure than IE. Virus writers write for IE because the browser is used more, hence they are shooting at elephants rather then mice.
FireFox is a poorly coded POS that runs like a model-T ford and maxes out my CPU any time I try to use FaceBook or any site with lots of AJAX. Opera does not allow any toolbars, my StumbleUpon tool bar, Roboform or my Google toolbar, a must for my daily work.
That leaves me with IE. I would pay $50 for a browser that worked properly and accepted my add ons. Opera, why not do the job right?
