Auto logon for Windows XP

Windows XP asks users to enter their username and password before log on. This feature is very useful if you are working on a shared computer and other users also use that computer. However, if you are the only user using your PC, then you can skip this step and go straight to your desktop.

How to :

1. Click Start > Run.

2. Note the username displayed above the Startup bar. You will need it later.

5. Now you will be asked to enter your username and password. Enter them, which you use to log on to windows XP (as you have noted in step 2).

And now, you are through.

Reminder: Please don’t use this trick if you work on a shared computer.
