So far I don’t know and didn’t involve anything on train link. I had technorati account but seldom to use it as I think it not give me any backlink. Right now I’m using spicypage.com but I see this is for one vote for another and just to make a new friends.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, I’m still learning about blogging and SEO.

I was referring to winning a permanent link on the front page of Blogging the Movie. This link will be there forever.. well the life of the site. But once the movie hits the screen. You can be part of the brand and might be mentioned in the movie.

Actually I never joined any Link trains during my 6 months of blogging. But I joined this one because it is not going to cause me any harm, but only good. To me, Technorati Rank is a recognition. So is my PageRank and Alexa Rank.

If you are blogging mainly for money, then you are correct in that traffic and reader count is more important. As far as I am concerned, I haven’t earned much money from my blog through ad sale or reviews. I have earned a few bucks through some contests in which I partcipated, directly or indirectly using my blog.

Also, when I first saw the link train in Jon’s blog, I visited some of the links that I wasn’t familiar with (most of them were familiar to me). Similarly someone may visit my blog and (hopefully) become a subscriber.

And we both exchanged a no-follow backlink due to the link train.

I got all these benefits at half the time you took to write this post.

Afterall, it’s all a matter of perception. Anyways, you have a nice blog.
